Congratulations to Bobbie Brunson for winning again from the San Diego Chapter for her entry in the 2008 ASG Creativity Contest.

Bobbie won Runner-Up in the category Sewing Excellence and Couture Details in the 2008 ASG Creativity Contest.  She used Simplicity pattern 3694, but modified it by adding a hood and making it a pullover jacket with a button placket front.  Bobbie also added a bottom band and hid a pocket in the band on the front.  She used a large floral print and underlined the jacket with flannel to make it a little warmer.  Here garment was named "beach parka", perfect for cool evenings at the beach.
