NAME: LOYCE SWEDBERG

POSITION: SECOND VICE PRESIDENT/MEMBERSHIP
NAME: RETHA MENEGEHNI

BIO: Retha was born in Kentucky where she learned the love of sewing from her mother and grandmothers. Retha met her Husband in Washington D.C., where they both worked for American Airlines. Both were transferred to Los Angeles in 1962. They raised three children in the L.A. area. When Bob retired they moved to Escondido.

Retha was a dressmaker in Los Angeles specializing in wedding dresses. She joined ASG in 1996 and loves to go to the conventions and workshops.

POSITION: SECRETARY
NAME: PHYLLIS LEWCOCK

BIO: I was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN.  My mother taught me to sew when I was a girl, and for years I loved making doll clothes.  I sewed many of my own clothes in high school. I am married and have a son and a daughter. My husband's job brought us to Sunnyvale, CA in 1977. I was a busy volunteer mom while our kids were growing up, and my sewing mainly consisted of patching and mending.  I worked as an elementary school teacher until I retired in 2003. We moved to the Placerville, CA area, and I joined the wonderful ASG chapter there. I discovered that sewing and sharing with ASG friends was so much FUN! In 2006 when we moved to Carlsbad, one of the first things I did was find an ASG meeting to attend. I continue to learn from and enjoy ASG activities, and look forward to being secretary of the San Diego chapter.

POSITION: TREASURER
NAME: RHODA KEEGAN

BIO:  I am currently the 2nd Vice President/Membership CAB member.  I have enjoyed this position, but my background in accounting is a comfortable fit for the position of Treasurer.

I enjoy all type of sewing, especially quilting.  I am very active with the ASYMCA Operation Kid Comfort Quilt program.  My involvement in this program lead to the teaming of the ASG San Diego Chapter and the ASYMCA.
