Diana's Angels

Diana's  Angels began in 1997 in Iowa, when Diana sadly miscarried triplets. At the time, the only garments small enough yet suitable for burial, were those in the doll department of the toy store. The ladies in her church vowed to fill this need for other grieving mothers by sewing, knitting and crocheting layettes and delivering to hospitals and mortuaries.

Each layette box contains a hand knit or crocheted receiving blanket, a kimono and either a boy's sleeper and cap or a girl's dress and bonnet. The layettes are offered gratis to the mothers regardless of economic status or religious affiliation.
